I taught for 8 years. The first 6 years, I taught middle school special education. The last 2 years, I taught in a self-contained special education class for 1st-2nd graders with severe behavior issues.
I have had a lot of people interested in an editable version of my academic calendar and attendance tracker, so here it is. This resource is completely editable so you can change the dates and colors. Keep track of your students' attendance or have your students keep track of their own attendance. Also great resource for parents to have if you have a lot of project deadlines that need to be shown on a simple one-page calendar.
Want something different for the kids to use for their spelling test? This activity is a drag and drop activity. On the first slide, students will type the spelling test number and their name. On the second slide, students will drag and drop the letters from the top of the page onto the appropriate number line. Since this is a google slides file, you can add your own text boxes if you would rather your students type the words instead of the drag and drop feature. Just remember to make your copy
Need something to help you track student behavior? Check out these behavior logs. They are editable for your use to customize to fit your needs and classroom. One is daily and one is weekly.
This snapshot page is great for those kiddos that are changing teachers or moving buildings. It gives the new teacher all of the necessary information to get the child started before the hard-copy file is received from the previous school/building/teacher.
Use these as a whole class or small group activity. Or assign these for those kiddos working from home. Students just click through the slides and practice their sight words.

This spelling menu will work for multiple grade levels. It allows the students to choose a way to practice their spelling words at school or at home for homework.
