This social-emotional unit focuses on identifying emotions in the mind, body, and soul. The Understanding by Design curriculum model allows objectives to drive instruction and allows for differentiation and adaptability. The first unit focuses on emotional regulation, suitable for elementary students. Emotional regulation increases academic and social success for all students.
