Exploring chronology through Disney. Begin with a group task, organising the key events from Walt Disney's life and check as a class. Move on to working in smaller groups to create a timeline of Disney films and when they were made. Challenge group to create a timeline based on when each of the films were set. Daily sentence structure PPT. Designed to be quick 15 minute sessions done on WBs to easily edit and amend sentences. Focuses on progressively building up their use and understanding of simple and then compound sentences.

Includes two teaching PPTs and accompanying lesson plans. Lesson 1 - Human bar charts, to be used whole class to recap or introduce steps to creating a bar chart including collecting, presenting and analysing data. Lesson 2 - Sweet investigation, to be done in groups using steps created the previous day, differentiated into Paddle (Low support needed), Dip (Low), Swim (Middle), Dive (High).

Bar charts sweet investigation - teaching PPT. including activity slides to create a bar chart based on how many of each coloured sweet is in a packet. Can be used in conjunction with Lesson 1 - making a human bar chart and the accompanying lesson plans in my TPT store.

Leeson 1 - whole class create a large human bar chart using the pupils as the bars and their favourite foods. Lesson 2 - sweets investigation where the pupils have to sort sweets into colours, record their data, present it and then analyse it.
