This is a science lab that demonstrates natural selection through competition. In the lab, each group of students will be assigned a lab tool to pick up pony beads with. (You need to have several more tools available; as students ‘die off’ they will join the more successful groups) The students will use the tools to pick up the beads for a set amount of time. After this time is up have the students count the beads; the group with the least amount of beads ‘dies off’. They will join the ot
