S.T.A.R. binders are a fantastic way to keep your kiddos organized throughout the year! I have included the binder cover with place for name and room number as well as an inside information sheet written to students to explain the purpose of the binder. Depending on the grade level you teach, you might want to include a divider for each subject (or major subjects) and homework.

A supplemental activity to use while studying equivalent fractions. It is fairly basic. Students should be able to find equivalent fractions using multiplication OR can use manipulatives while working on activity . Students choose a favorite ice cream flavor and create a fraction using ice cream scoops. Then they find some equivalents! :)
