These Scattergories slides are a great activity to use in speech therapy for targeting a variety of goals (expressive/receptive language, articulation, word-finding, phonological awareness, social skills, etc.). Each slide has a letter and a list of categories. Students can work independently or together as a group/in teams to generate items in each category beginning with the target letter.

This visual is used with school-aged students who have frequent communicative breakdowns and/or unintelligible speech. These visuals help students implement strategies to make themselves better understood by their communication partners.
