This is a unit circle I created for students to keep as a reference. It has the special right triangles that can be rotated around the circle. I have guided notes that go along with this (listed separately). We spent two days putting this unit circle together as an interactive lesson.

These are guided notes for a geometry circles unit. Topics include: circle vocabulary, finding arc measures, angles in and out of circles, finding segment lengths, the equation of the circles, deriving equations of circle by completing the square, finding arc length, and finding area of the sector. Notes are scaffolded to help students build understanding, and many of the concepts are built through discovery and investigation.

These are guided notes that will explore the meaning of a radian and how to use this definition to find the angle measures on a unit circle. There are also distractors in the answer choices which will force students to think about the signs and to remember to include the GCF as part of their answer.

This a short project that students can work on to help them build their understanding of transformations of a parabola. Students will take real life parabolas and use DESMOS find the equation of the parabola. Step by step instructions are included from how to create a Desmos account to how to submit on google classroom. Great for an algebra 2 class.
