About the store
As an English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) teacher, I taught all levels of English language fluency from beginners to intermediate and advanced level ESOL students. About the store

Experience

As an English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) teacher, I taught all levels of English language fluency from beginners to intermediate and advanced level ESOL students. I wrote hundreds of unit plans and lesson plans! In my career, I taught Pre-K, and K-12 level. I also taught Continuing Education for adult English as a Second Language (ESL) students and ESL courses at the Community College level. I continue to teach and share my knowledge and resources!

Teaching style

I teach students individually, in small groups and whole groups. The levels are differentiated especially for the students' English language proficiency levels. My philosophy for education is with patience and understand students will learn.

Awards & shining teacher moments

Author of a 17-book Street Rhymes Series, Short Vowels to help new readers learn to read. It is also available in a 5-book Series and a 2-book set. My latest Book is Basic English Sounds for New Readers. As a poet, I have published four poetry books. All of my books are available on Amazon. I was the editor, writer, and photographer for our local union newsletter. As the editor, I won first place in the CEA statewide competition for 14 years!
