This is a week long vocabulary and conversation lesson that I used with my first grade ELL students. It includes 10 vocabulary cards, sample sentence frames and lesson plans as well as a little matching game using the emotions. This was used to help ELL students understand more complex emotions and work on how to explain those emotions.

This is a set of 10 adjective vocabulary cards, lesson plans and a matching game. It includes sentence frames that help the students use the adjectives appropriately as well as explain how they would use them. By the end of the week, the students will feel comfortable using the adjectives while reading, writing and speaking.
