About the store
I began my teach career in 2010. My first job was at a private Christian Academy. That year I taught 4th grade, 7th grade math, and all four years of high school math. I only taught at the school for one year and then moved into the public sector. I began teaching at Fannin County Middle School in 2011 and am still there. I've been a math interventionist for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade. I taught 6th grade math for 12 years. Now, I serve as Academic Coach in my school.

Finding the Mean
Students work through six sets of data finding the mean of each. This is a Google Form that self grades. It begins with a picture/slide reviewing "how to find the mean" before students work through the first problem. This is a great activity to use after teaching Mean to assess whether or not students have grasped the concept. It's also a great mini quiz assessment.

Median Matching Activity
Help students practice finding the median with a fun and colorful matching activity. This activity includes six problems that have a range of numbers from tens to thousands. Once students put the data in order from least to greatest they'll be able to match the median provided with the correct set of data.

Mean and Median Pixel Art/Mystery Picture
This product is designed as a practice/review for 6th grade math after teaching measures of central tendency. The mystery picture is self-checking in the fact that when the correct answer is keyed in the picture will begin to reveal itself. This product is very helpful in online learning and great for Google Classroom users. The product does use Google Sheets.

Experience

Teaching style
I am a very energetic teacher. I never sit! I love to teach with music and dancing. I'm always incorporating kinesthetic learning into my lessons. I am traditional in certain aspects like taking and giving notes, but I tend to add a touch of technology and flare to it. My goal is to make learning relevant and fun!
