Exploring the concept in physics of particles, specifically looking at air and if it has a mass. -Experiment: comparing the mass of 2 balloons. -Calculations of weight (mass x gravity). -Simulations about forces, resultant forces.

Lesson to explore Magnetism with the use of magnets.

Can be used as an introductory lesson to the Flight unit. Gives students a chance to create a title page and consider their previous learning about Flight and forces, and ask some questions to guide the planning of this unit.
