This is a 2 page pdf document that explains the rules of the Matador version of dominoes. In order to play the game students will need double nine dominoes. There is a link on the pdf to a site that has a free printable for double 9 dominoes.
This game is played similar to dominoes, only to match tiles, they must add up to 10. The instructions include suggestions for variations and a couple of pictures of a game in progress.
Common Core Standards: K.OA.A.1, K.OA.A.4, 1.OA.C.6, 2.OA.B.2
This is a game similar to Go Fish where the matches are two addends that create a predetermined sum. I learned it first as tenskies. The student looks at his number and asks for the number which will create a ten. The game can be played to create any sum, not just ten.
This includes a description of the game, number cards for 1-19, and a response sheet.
Meets common core standards for kindergarten and first grade math.
