This Google doc is great for the classroom, subs, and for students that are not able to be in the normal classroom. It is self contained with needed information found in short paragraphs. This document contains a wordsearch, a crossword, and a place for creative drawing. This makes it easier for students to get to work. Experience

I am a retired science teacher. In my 27 in public school, I have had the opportunity to teach 8th grade science, horticulture, biology, physics, and highschool state test prep. The majority of my experience is within the 8th grade classroom.

Teaching style

I have always tried to give kids different ways to learn and express their knowledge. I tried to plan lessons that engaged kids in multiple ways while always remembering to avoid the "B" word... (bordom)! This belief was evident in my classroom, and is reflected in the products I make now.

My own education history

I earned a bachelor of science in education. Later, I completed a M.Ed. with an emphasis in technology.
