This is a Powerpoint presentation that gives 5th grade students practice working with 6 fairly sophisticated bar modeling problems. Use this robust presentation to help guide whole group instruction or to give students individual, or small group center practice. The presentation is set up to allow the user(s) to work through at their own pace. I use these slides the last two or three days of a bar modeling boot camp I do with my 5th graders. They aren't as simple as you'd think!
