I have worked with students of all ages, from preschool up to college tutoring. I was the prechool craft director for a few years. I have helped privately tutor children going into Kindergarten. I am now a stay-at-home mom with a preschooler and elementary student, and work their learning into our daily activities, as well as structured learning time.

Cutting Practice Thanksgiving Turkey Craft
This fun activity is cutting practice disguised as a craft! Make a 3D stand-up turkey using paper strips from cutting practice.
3 different line patterns for students to cut. Straight lines, angled lines, and a mild zig-zag cutting practice. Print the turkey on cardstock and print the cutting pages on colorful paper. Glue the strips to the turkey to give him feathers! Easy and adorable.

I am now a stay-at-home mom with a preschooler and elementary student, and work their learning into our daily activities, as well as structured learning time.
Teaching style
I teach in segmented, buildable skills. Primarily spiral teaching methods. I believe this is how the mind naturally wants to learn. It is my goal to provide students with engaging activities which also teach them a skill. I tailor the lesson to the students - to "speak their language" so that they absorb faster and retain more.
Additional biographical information
I am a Christian, a wife to a very supportive husband, mother of five children, artist and published illustrator. I also own an art business, skincare business, and am active in my local church, and teach fitness locally.
