This activity will have students problem solve while planning a vegetable garden. I use this activity for my high school Horticulture class but could be altered to fit middle school through high school.

This is a unit of study about Forestry in America. There is an activity where students will use QR codes to find information on a worksheet. Included is a study guide, a quiz, and a key for the quiz. When teaching this you could include tree identification, calculating board feet, and engineered lumber.

This is an assignment that will prepare students to apply and interview for a job. Students will create a resume, letter of application, and take part in 3 mock interviews. This project will prepare students for future careers in any field.

This is a worksheet where students will explore how math is used in agriculture. It will show students how math is applied in the real world. Ratios, percents, and money are problems in this worksheet.

This is an activity that you would use as a bell ringer or as a end of the period summary. Each student receives a slip. Each slip has a section that says I have, and a section that says who has. The I have are the parts of the plant and the who has are the definition of the next persons plant part. If the students know what the definitions of the plant part is they will say I have (plant part).
