With over 18 years of experience as an educator, my teaching journey spans a wide variety of ages and subjects. Currently, I teach at a Catholic school in Texas where I wear many hats across the campus. My daily schedule involves teaching elementary technology for grades 1-5, middle school coding, financial literacy through a middle school stock market class, and a specialized executive functioning and study skills course. Experience

I am also a TEA Certified Campus Technology Specialist, which allows me to effectively blend core curriculums with meaningful classroom tech integration.

Teaching style

My teaching philosophy centers on encouraging students to be their absolute best selves in a supportive, growth-focused environment. I believe in making learning highly engaging and accessible, whether that means using fun storytelling to teach foundational math concepts or designing practical journals to build vital middle school executive functioning skills. I strive to create cross-curricular resources that are creative, practical, and tailored to how students actually learn and organize information best.

Awards & shining teacher moments

One of my proudest ongoing achievements is developing custom curriculums and hands-on resources that truly resonate with my students across a diverse range of subjects. A major highlight has been creating "The Daily Navigator," a customized journal specifically designed to help middle schoolers master their focus and build essential executive functioning skills. Earning my TEA Certification as a Campus Technology Specialist has also been a fantastic milestone that helps me support my fellow teachers and my campus as a whole.

My own education history

I hold a Master of Science degree from Full Sail University, as well as a Bachelor's degree from the Baldwin-Wallace Conservatory. These experiences equipped me with a unique blend of creative problem-solving, project management, and presentation skills that I bring into the classroom every day.

Additional biographical information

Outside the classroom, I am an active author and creator, constantly working on new books and educational materials for students of all ages. I have a deep interest in classic literature, technology, and the stock market, which often inspire the cross-curricular projects I bring to my students. Most importantly, I'm a proud husband to my wife and a dad to three amazing kids! Being a parent—especially to a neurodiverse child—deeply informs my empathetic and structured approach to creating accessible educational resources.
