About the store
As a 15+ year veteran of middle school math education, I love ideas and opportunities for children to see what great mathematicians they are! I design products that will give children practice and guidance in how to improve through assistance from their educators. I also look to share ideas that make the other part of teaching (paperwork, emailing, grading) easier so that I can focus on teaching and learning.

Here's a table of contents for your students' vocabulary section. Provide the list at the beginning of the unit and add new words in the blank places. I've a few extra words myself. Then as students add the terms and their definitions into their vocabulary section (which may not be in alphabetical order) they can put a page number in or just check it off. By the end of this CMP3 unit for 7th grade, they should have all of the words accounted for! Please remember to rate this product!

Here's a great way for students to review past skills. Some problems are wordy and others are just skill. I give students about a week to work on this assignment outside of school and solicit help during tutoring. It's a great way to keep up with information without taking up class time! Though I use these for my 7th grade students at the beginning of the year, it can be useful for any grade level that needs these skills. The problems on the front cover a range of CCSS math topics. An easy page for student to copy notes and record vocabulary, this page of notes for CMP3 makes it easy to provide information after (or before) having discussed the material. Use it as a warmup to see what students know and then fill in the blank. Or ask students to follow along with a slideshow of notes. An adapted page is included for students who need assisted notes. Please rate me so that I can provide the best products possible for you!

About the store

Experience

As a 15+ year veteran of middle school math education, I love ideas and opportunities for children to see what great mathematicians they are! I design products that will give children practice and guidance in how to improve through assistance from their educators. I also look to share ideas that make the other part of teaching (paperwork, emailing, grading) easier so that I can focus on teaching and learning.

Teaching style

I prefer inquiry based, real world application problems, but I also understand that our children need practice with certain skills to be successful in inquiry based environments.

Awards & shining teacher moments

My students love me and hate it when I'm fair and holding them accountable. I consider this the highest award from middle school children.

My own education history

I hold an BS in Math and a M.Ed in Curriculum and Technology.

Additional biographical information

I have a husband and three children of my own. I've always wanted to be a teacher and to touch the lives of children around the world is my dream.
