I currently teach high school math in West Texas and am a math coach for all secondary math programs in my district. I also present and train teachers for school districts, along with writing custom curriculum. I have worked with children from a young age, and math has always been a passion of mine. Experience

I currently teach high school math in West Texas and am a math coach for all secondary math programs in my district. I also present and train teachers for school districts, along with writing custom curriculum. I have worked with children from a young age, and math has always been a passion of mine. I majored in Math and Science at Texas Tech, and teaching seemed like the logical career path for me!

Teaching style

I enjoy putting learning back into my students' hands. I like to give them the opportunity to make their own conclusions and discover things for themselves. I teach mainly through INB's and a flipped classroom and have had great success. I also enjoy making math a hands-on experience including aspects of different subjects especially science and art.

Named exemplary teacher in the state of Texas in 2023. 100% passing rate for SPED students on the 2023 Algebra EOC. 100% passing rate for general education students on the 2024 Algebra EOC.

I am a mother of 3 and a wife. Math pervades every aspect of my life, and my husband refers to me as his "little nerd." He loves to see me excited about things that gave him nightmares. He has been very supportive of my teaching career and says that he wishes he had a teacher like me.
