I use these mats in my classroom to introduce the concepts of geometry to my students and as a way for them to continue practicing identifying/describing shapes as an independent or partner center. 3 mats included: by shape name, by # of sides, by # of vertices (corners) Use with pattern blocks, shapes, or paper shapes that can be cut and glued (great performance task!)
