In this assessment, students will distinguish between needs and wants, use vocabulary, answer true/false questions, draw a picture of a need and a wants, and use a graph to answer questions.

This is an assessment to be used after studying about magnets. In this assessment, students will answer true/false questions, identify different types of magnets, identify the poles, use vocabulary, and distinguish what objects a magnet would and would not attract to.

In this packet, students will first decide if they are to count on or count back by looking at the sign in the problem. Students will then use the number path provided to practice hopping forward or backward, depending on the problem. Included is classwork, an exit ticket, and homework.

Students use this graphic organizer to write and sequence directions for how to catch a turkey.

In this activity, students will practice the circle the bigger number and count on strategy. It moves from adding numeral and using pictures to count on the add the second addend. Included are a classwork page, homework page, and quiz. All papers follow the same process.

On this test, student label a shape, write the number of sided and corners on 2d shapes, color 3D figures to match the sample, draw the 2D plane shape, match geometric figures, decide if a figure can stack/roll, etc. Students then complete a section on fractions where they need to decide if a shape is divided into equal or unequal parts, color in a fourth or one half of a shape, and then divide shapes into equal parts.

Students use a flashlight and various objects to decide if the light will shine through. Students decide if the object is transparent, translucent, or opaque.

This is an assessment I have used after completing a unit on sound. Students use vocabulary, answer multiple choice questions, fill in the blank, and true/false questions.

I use this organizer as a great writing activity for my students to write what they love about their dad for father's day. (Also included are sheets for Grandpa's, Papa's, and uncles for those kiddos who might prefer to write about another important man in their lives!) After writing the poem, the students draw a picture of their special person and we put it together to make a really nice poster. It's a big hit with the dads!

In this worksheet, students subtract 10's using a hundred chart and base 10 blocks. This could be used as practice, homework, or a quiz.

In these worksheets, students use 10 frames to solve addition problems by making a 10. Also included are word problems that ask students to draw a picture to solve and to circle a group of 10. Students then add three numbers to, by circling the two numbers that make 10 first. I've put it in a word document so you can edit it to use your children's names if you like.

Student use two different colors to demonstrate the idea behind adding in any order.

On this assessment, students use a hundred chart to add 10's to a double digit number. Then, they use pictures of 10 rods to add to a double digit number. Next, they solve double digit problems. Last, there is a word problem included.

In this part-part-whole worksheet, students work on using a part-part-whole work mat to write subtraction sentences. Students find the missing part by drawing a picture. They then write the subtraction sentence that goes with the problem. The part-part-whole boxes are blank so that you can customize.

In this practice page (which I put in a plastic sleeve so students can reuse) students practice writing fact families. They write the 3 numbers given, put their information in a number bond, in a part-part-whole work mat, and then practice writing the fact family.

In this activity, students use a word problem involving gingerbread to fill out a table, make a bar graph, and then answer questions based on their data.

In this fun activity, students answer the question "What is your favorite way to eat an apple?" There is a data collection graph, a bar graph, and 5 questions for students to answer based on their data. Students get to try apple cider, fresh apple slices, dried apple slices, apple chips, and applesauce. I left it in a word document so if one of the apple types isn't available or you would like to substitute, it is easy to change.
