Give your class a fun way to practice using apostrophes with very little prep. Print the cards on colorful cardstock. Cut the top strip off as a full banner. Cut the last three rows apart to create cards. Then add this activity to your collection of center activities. I recommend reading The Greedy Apostrophe: A Cautionary Tale by Jan Carr before using this activity.

Kids Learning Tube produced a fabulous video all about photosynthesis. The lyrics are sung really fast, but I have a solution for you. Filling in the missing words while you watch the video helps students catch concepts they might otherwise miss. Enjoy!
