Teaching style
My number one priority as a teacher is to send my students off as better little humans. Better in all ways - yes academically, but with regulation, social skills, creativity and curiosity. I prefer learning through play - which can look so many ways!
My own education history
I never left the world of education. Since I was a kindergartener, I knew one day that I would be a kindergarten teacher. After getting my Bachelor's Degree with a double major in Biblical Studies and Elementary Education, I was hired as a kindergarten teacher and spent 9 years in that role - loving every minute of it. During that time, I also got my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction while working full time, with a three year old and a newborn at home. Now, I am a stay at home mom to my three boys and also does a small inhome preschool.
