About the store
Welcome! If you're working with students who benefit from visual support, you're in the right place! As a dedicated general education teacher, I’m passionate about helping fellow educators discover effective, time-saving strategies that support student growth and learning. The best part? Many of my resources are designed to build essential skills while keeping things fun and engaging for your students. With over 23 years of teaching experience, I’ve had the joy of working across a variety of grade levels. I began my career teaching first through third grade at a Title I school. I loved every moment and imagined staying in that role for years. Although I adored my school, principal, students, and colleagues, a new opportunity came along when my son started kindergarten at a different school. I made the decision to switch districts to be closer to him. Over the next twelve years, I taught first, second, and kindergarten—and discovered that kindergarten is where I truly thrive. It’s been my happy place ever since!

Teaching style

My teaching style in is all about creating a nurturing, playful, and structured environment where young learners feel safe, supported, and excited to explore. I blend hands-on activities, visual supports, and interactive lessons to meet the diverse needs of my students. Through songs, stories, movement, and games, I make learning fun and memorable—especially when it comes to foundational skills like reading, math, and social-emotional development. I believe in the power of routines, positive reinforcement, and building strong relationships with each child. My classroom is a place where curiosity is encouraged, mistakes are part of the learning process, and every student is celebrated for their unique strengths. Whether we’re singing the alphabet, building with blocks, or practicing mindfulness, my goal is to spark a lifelong love of learning from day one.
