About the store
I have been a history & science teacher for the past 6 years. Since no student likes to learn about history I had to be creative with what we did in the classroom to keep them engaged. I started with not re-inventing the wheel, but then that got boring so I branched out! Since then my class time has been much improved with getting more creative and scaffolding the project based learning I committed to in my classroom.

Additional biographical information

By life I am a wife & mom of three, a farmer, & a teacher. I wear many hats in my family, but those are the most powerful ones. I started my career in education right out of high school and then Hurricane Katrina disrupted my entire outlook on what I thought would happen. I ended up in virtual college (totally brand new at the time in 2005) - super complicated with no wi-fi in every building too! But as the years went on I got married, had my first child, graduated with an associates degree and then children 2 & 3 happened. I ended up at UNO finishing my degree in education & graduate the COVID year - May 2020. I landed my first school teaching job in August 202 when schools opened back up & the rest is history - no pun intended! I am not taking things further by enhancing all my lesson plans and putting them out there for other to use and implement in their classrooms. My students enjoyed all the lesson because it isn't just writing after writing after writing. It's project based & lots of group work!
