Experience
This is my 16th year teaching. I have spent 2 years in grade 3. 7 years in grade 1 and am currently in my 7th year of grade 2.
Teaching style
I walk a fine line between strict and silly. I have high expectations of my students and I thrive on routine. I have had the opportunity to loop with 3 classes which was a truly rewarding experience. I think everyone should loop in primary. I am passionate about mentoring student teachers and can often be found with a protege in tow.

I have a BA in Sociology and my B.Ed (with high distinction) in Elementary Education.

I am a single mother of 2 teenage girls. It's rewarding, and challenging, and the hardest job I have ever had.
