Experience

I have been teaching in a New Jersey public school district for about 9 years. Of those 9 years, 7 have been in 4th grade-my personal favorite.

Teaching style

While I realize the appeal of clip art, graphics and cute details, it's not really my style. My students have come to know me as fast talking, and skills driven. My resources reflect that. They get straight to the point. I pride myself on my teacher created resources, they are the basis of my instruction. Everything on my page has been used within my classroom to teach my own students. Much of what you see will be fractions based as it is a huge unit within 4th grade, and the skills within the unit are my favorite to teach, yet truly difficult.
