Addition Vault Using Ten Frames
This is a great visual for showing students how to find the sum of two numbers. The students watch as the stars fly in and they predict the answer. Then the vault opens to reveal the correct answer (immediate feedback). Using the vault is a terrific way for teachers to keep students interested in the lesson as they try to anticipate what will be in the vault.
