I teach middle school Computer Science and Math in South Florida. Math was my first love. I was an excellent math student and I participated to regional level competitions / Olympiads. Last year all the students I tutored in Math passed their FAST exams. I also occasionally work with a team of formal Math Teachers with 10+ years of experience in teaching middle school and elementary math in their own States. Some of the resources on this site are written by them.

Experience

Teaching style

Based on intensive exercises, hands-on activities, real-world problems and culturally aware problems. I also implement a technology and data driven edge into math. I have a niche in gamified problems, realistic scenarios, culturally aware problems and names of characters. I am also developing a niche in high-end, challenging, math Olympiad type problems.

My own education history

I have two Degrees, one in Computer Architectures, the other one in Computer Engineering.

Additional biographical information

I live in sunny North Bay Village, FL with my family and a dog.
