Science getting to know you activity, first week activity. Two page foldable handout that students work on to share a little about themselves. I encourage them to color the lab coat, and I ask every one to pick 3 things to share with the class the day after we make them. PDF, google slide, and instruction slide.

I used this video to introduce cell theory, the handout has students cut and paste historical characters into the their places on a timeline. Turn a 6 minute video into a 20 minute activity.

This hand out can be used on sub days, show an episode of Scooby-Doo and have the students identify the steps of the scientific method as they watch.
