Teen number arrangements to aid your students in grouping random arrangements with the number ten in mind: This activity can be used for morning work, an exit ticket or an independent activity. Students are asked to circle a group of ten before completing the equation and circling the teen number that matches the arrangement. This activity reinforces that understanding of teen numbers as one group of ten and additional ones.
