This lesson is "part 2" of introduction to slope-intercept form. In other words, students should be familiar with slope-intercept form before this lesson is introduced. In this lesson, students will complete a warm up problem to review prior knowledge. They will also learn to transform a linear equation from standard form to slope-intercept form and will learn to graph an equation.

This should be used as a 10-15 minute introduction to reviewing how to plot points in the coordinate plane. It should be followed by a plotting point activity, such as point battleship.
