In our school we use a buddy room system for students who need a break from the refular room. We pick 2 rooms at the beginning of the year, usually a different grade level. When a student acts out in a way we feel they need redirection in another room, we fill these out with them and send them to the other classroom.

This activity is used with Harcourt Trophies story FUN WITH FISH. This activity page can be used as a center game, group instruction, or whatever fits your classroom and teaching style. I used a cube with my Sight Word Roll game. Students roll the cube and write the word on top. This game is used to practice sight words in the story.
