Kara Smith

I have been working with children for over 15 years. I have had the wonderful experience of working with infants all the way up through pre kindergarten and kindergarten students. My true passion is with 5 year olds. I enjoy lesson and curriculum planning. I could sit for hours on end enjoying the organization of materials that I use in the classroom.

I earned my child development in 2008 and recently had it renewed. I also won the teacher of the year award in York county. I have hundreds of training hours along either experience.

I attended Penn State and Harrisburg area community college for early childhood education and also earned my CDA.

I am a mother of 6 beautiful children and have been working with children for many years. I consider myself to be a very organized person that has a love for educating little people. I love planning activities on my own and being able to have the freedom I have to teach my students with the materials that I have custom made. I want to share those materials either others and hope that they and their children love them as much as I do.
