Combine number identification with technology for the ultimate in student engagement! Cut the task cards and mix them up, spreading them around the room (I find putting them on the walls with sticky-tack works well). Students use a device (iPad, iPad, tablet, phone) with a QR code scanner (free to download from the iTunes or Google Play stores) and begin at the start card, identifying the picture of the ten frame hidden in the QR code and finding the corresponding number on another card.
