A quick and simple lab in which students can observe the differences in the formation of a mixture and a compound! All you need is water, vinegar, chalk and small beakers or clear plastic cups. In this activity students analyze and match the steps of an experiment to the steps of the Scientific Method. They also identify controlled variables, independent and dependent variables and assess whether the hypothesis was proven. Includes a bonus practice activity!
