This was an end-of-the-year activity that I did with my students. It is created in power point with hyperlinks, so it can be easily changed and manipulated for use in your classroom. It includes three rounds of six different categories: -Think-A-Gram puzzle -Famous People -Famous Landmarks -Who Invented It? -Problem Solving -This Day in History... There is a final bonus round on Presidents where students will have to make a wager with the points they've earned in the previous three rounds.

Experience

I have taught the gifted and talented in our district going on five years now. Before that I taught 3rd and 4th grades for an additional five years.

Teaching style

I love to do hands-on projects that will enhance learning for all learners, but mostly geared for gifted and talented students.

My own education history

I graduated from a small rural high school in Northeast Kansas and then went on to earn my bachelor's degree from Kansas State University in Elementary Education. A few years later I went back to get my masters degree in gifted education from Emporia State University.
