I have been teaching 8th-12th grade agriculture education in Missouri since 2013, all except one year being in a single teacher department. In addition to teaching, I serve as a FFA Advisor of an active FFA Chapter and over the years have created resources that I have used for my classroom and for my chapter. I hope that you will enjoy some of the activities that we do in our program and maybe they can help you in your program. As they always say, there is not need to reinvent the wheel and, as a mother of 3, I know how important your time is and hope to help an any way possible.

Teaching style
Learning by doing! I try to make my classroom engaging with interactive activities and reviews and with hands-on labs to help my students grow as leaders in our industry!
It is also important to understand students can't do everything without instruction, I work hard to find the balance between classroom instruction and hands on learning.

Additional biographical information
I'm a wife and mother to 3 wonderful kids, Agriculture Instructor and FFA Advisor. Our profession is valuable, even when we don't feel valued! After 10+ years of teaching experience and raising a family as a one teacher department, I know agriculture education and FFA is demanding and overwhelming and often myself lean on others in the profession for help and guidance. I am thankful for the support of my personal family and the network of agriculture teachers around me to help keep me on track and growing in my profession.
