About the store
I started off as an outdoor enviromental education instructor, then moved into working as a scientist for the national park service. I have taught everything from a self-contained elementary class of 4th, 5th and 6th grade students in a rural classroom in a two room school, to teaching in an upscale suburban middle school as an Earth and Space Science and Life Science teacher. I also have two special needs adopted sons that my husband and I homeschool.

Battle of the Beaks Clip Bird Land

When teaching about vertebrates or species variation this lab from Berkley is outstanding: http://www.ucmp.berkeley.edu/education/lessons/clipbirds/ but there is not a student sheet to go with it. I decided to make my own lab reflection to go with the lab so that I would have a good way to assess student learning at the end of a very high energy lab.
