Teaching style

My teaching style is very much student oriented. Through Modern Classrooms approach, SEL angles, project-based learning, restorative practices, and student-centered learning, I try to emulate the type of teacher I always needed when I was a kid: one that made learning count, one that made learning personal, and one that cared.

My own education history

Bachelor's Degree in English Education (Secondary 6-12) Minor (and License) in K - 12 Special Education Master's Degree #1 in English Education - focused on curriculum development, literacy, restorative justice Master's Degree #2 in School Counseling

Additional biographical information

While I don't actively support teachers paying for more things with the very little financial, emotional, societal support they get, the idea of sharing and supporting one another is very much what's needed in education, and I want nothing more than to support, engage with, and learn from other teachers.
