I believe that learning should feel exciting, meaningful, and full of purpose. My teaching style centers around play-based, hands-on activities that give students the chance to explore, discover, and take ownership of their learning. When students are actively engaged—touching, sorting, building, matching, creating—they develop deeper understanding and stronger confidence.
I design resources with interaction and fun in mind, because I know that play isn’t just play… it’s powerful learning. Each activity is created to support skills in an engaging way that encourages independence, exploration, curiosity, and joy in the classroom. All these resources are things I have made for and use in my own PreK classroom.
If they’re learning, playing, and smiling—then we’re doing it right!
