About the store

Experience

I teach 4th, 5th, and 6th grade Social Studies in a departmentalized elementary setting. My subjects include Indiana History, United States History, History of Europe and the Americans, Ancient History, Government (state, national, and foundations), Economics, and Geography (Indiana, United States, North American, South America, and Europe.)

Teaching style

My students do lots of research, inquiry, and simulations to explore Social Studies. I incorporate lots of reading and writing into my curriculum as well as creative and artistic projects. I utilize a variety of internet and print resources for teaching, rather than relying on a textbook.
