I have an certifications in elementary ed., ESOL, Reading endorsement and Media Specialist. I also have an Early Childhood Generalist National Board certification. Teaching style
My teaching style is a combination of a variety of strategies designed to motivate and keep students actively engaged in their learning. In an effort to differentiate my instruction I enjoy: indepth project/problem based learning, multiple intelligences, cooperative learning structures, lots of hands-on science that integrates all contents, USA and international schools collaborations on inquiry project exchanges, Brain based learning strategies, Stephen Covey's 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, technology integration, and schoolyard gardening (hydroponics, aquaponics, aeroponics, and EarthBoxes).

I am blessed with 3 beautiful children and 5 grandchildren. My husband retired with 30 years as a teacher and School Administration. My daughter is the 10th educator in my husband and my families.
I love traveling in our RV, camping, trains, cruising, gardening, reading, and just hanging out with family and friends around the barbecue.
