Lab worksheet that includes instructions, data tables, and analysis questions. Students measure a set distance, and then time group members walking and running. They then compare their predictions to actual velocities and analyze if their velocity was constant.
Aligns with Georgia Performance Standard SPS8a.
Can be converted to google doc for paperless classroom use.
Includes lesson guide, student worksheet and answer key, and conversion factor cards for activity. The worksheet is structured to be completed with teacher guidance for the front and then independently or in groups on the back. The majority of the activity is simple unit to unit conversion, but there are problems with both multiple units to convert and units squared.
