This page is created to go along with the book "Pete The Cat And His 4 Groovy Buttons". My students love this story because it's silly - Pete keeps losing his buttons! It's a great story to use when teaching subtraction because Pete loses 1 button at a time. We read the story and then the kids get to make up their own Pete the cat and a number sentence about his buttons popping off! This page makes a great class book page, too.
This is a versatile game that children can play to practice adding and subtracting!
