Coaching cycles are critical in supporting new teachers and those that have been identified to improve in specific areas of growth. This 10 page document provides information on how to tier teachers, identify areas of support for specific needs, conduct a coaching cycle, peer observation forms and mentor/mentee coaching meetings. These documents identify best practices within the classroom including routines/procedures, monitoring, engagement, instructional delivery and standards-based lessons.

With the new FSA Writing test approaching, I have had a difficult time finding something for my students to organize their writing using multiple sources. This lays out a spot for their introduction, a box to write each fact and textual evidence, and a conclusion. It also reminds them what information to include in each area.

This is a great menu with different activities to use for vocabulary words. This can be used as a center for word work or as a homework sheet. The activities on this sheet are very different and opens the door for student creativity.
