Cut cards apart. Place same colored cards in ziploc baggies for students or partners to unscramble. They must unscramble in order to make 4 true sentences (a fact family.)
Pumpkin pictures have subtraction sentences. If it is a sentence that students must fix, they color it. List the letters of the pictures that you colored. Unscramble the sentences to reveal helpful message: Equals means the same.
Tool for those students needing a challenge from simple addition and subtraction practice. Students race to find a way to make 12 on each card. (12 cards included plus an answer key.) Students must add and/or subtract the 5 numbers in order to make 12.
There are 12 sets of ten-frames with ideas for various individual, partner, or small-group games. There are variations for you to use as review for identifying the ten-frame number representations or to review the two parts of ten.
