Katie's Creative Corner

A cross curriculum standards based project in which students work collaboratively to create a zoo within space and budget restraints. After completion of the project, their is an reflection writing piece and an opportunity for presentation. This is a great project for 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students who are practicing their work with decimals and area. This could be done as a fun project, or a collaborative assessment.
