This is a great resource to use for teaching students how to make a tissue paper landscape collage. Slides introduce the concepts of collage, landscape art, and how to use tissue paper to create a landscape collage. The physical materials I recommend are a variety of colored tissue papers, watered down Elmer's Glue, old paintbrushes for spreading, and a sturdy paper as your background. This is a Google Drive resource so you can edit the slides and change to your personal preference!

This is a Google Slides that includes a link to a Screencastify video on on how to create a digital artwork of an animal and its habitat using Google Drawing. My students loved this project! This PowerPoint introduces your younger students (recommended grades 1-5) to the concept of using Q-tips, glue, and tacky glue to create dinosaur skeletons. This PowerPoint is a lesson for your older art students and introduces them to the Italian artist Guido Daniele. Famous for his body painting, students will be inspired to work in groups to create a "Handimal" on a group member's actual hand. This requires them to consider texture, values in painting, and group collaboration. My 5th grade students did this and were very successful. We invited the younger students to come view the "zoo" the day of the painting!
