This is a great resource to use for teaching students how to make a tissue paper landscape collage. Slides introduce the concepts of collage, landscape art, and how to use tissue paper to create a landscape collage. The physical materials I recommend are a variety of colored tissue papers, watered down Elmer's Glue, old paintbrushes for spreading, and a sturdy paper as your background. This is a Google Drive resource so you can edit the slides and change to your personal preference!

This PowerPoint is a lesson for your older art students and introduces them to the Italian artist Guido Daniele. Famous for his body painting, students will be inspired to work in groups to create a "Handimal" on a group member's actual hand. This requires them to consider texture, values in painting, and group collaboration. My 5th grade students did this and were very successful.
